Places: Coiffeur

I am beyond excited to be living in the Marais, which is apparently famous for being a historically Jewish and gay neighborhood. It feels kind of like SoHo meets Chelsea with a bit of Hell’s Kitchen. I’ve heard that the area is known for vintage shopping. So, my roommate and I set out to hit the most recommended stores, but then we stumbled upon Coiffeur, a hole-in-the-wall that wasn’t part of our original game plan. Coiffeur is reasonably priced and filled with wearable pieces, which I love. It’s less costume-y or Halloween-y than a lot of thrift stores I’ve seen. I picked up this floral dress, which I can’t wait to wear this spring when the weather finally gets warmer! Coiffeur also has a good selection of bags, and I was immediately drawn to their wide selection of Levi’s cut-offs, which can be hard to find in the right shade and fit.
